means literally "the Heaven and the Earth". It is, in the Orient,interpreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history, therefore, it is the initial pattern played by the beginner. This pattern consistsof two similar parts; one to represent the Heaven and the other Earth.
Signifies innocence, as that of a beginning student who has no previous knowledge of TaeKwon-Do.

To ensure consistent standards and knowledge Instructors must ensure their students attend to the following: 9th-2nd Kup must atttend at least 2 area colour-belt Masterclass seminars each year. 1st Kup or higher must attend at least one 'all day' black-belt seminar.
